Training On Monitoring and Evaluation & Data Management in the Health Sector
Monitoring and Evaluation in the health sector have become essential components in the health programs. M&E helps in collection, analysis and transformation of health data into strategic information necessary for informed decision making, enhanced advocacy, and improved effectiveness in health programs. M&E makes sure that health programs are implemented as accordingly and the desired results are achieved.
Monitoring and evaluation in the health sector allow individuals & organizations in assessing if a project is achieving its objectives, tracking the use of funds, identifying challenges, and ultimately creating the evidence base necessary to inform decision making & improving future efforts.
The monitoring and evaluation skills will assist the participants in improving health program plans and performance management and enhancing the collection of health-related data & analyzing program impact. The core topics include development of monitoring and evaluation for population, health and nutrition interventions (e.g. HIV and AIDS, STDs, TB, maternal health, family planning, child health and reproductive health).
